Halloween 5: Everything done well in 4 is ruined here. Annoying characters, lame comic relief, and lack of tension abounds. 3/10

The Fourth Kind opens with two lies.  Milla Jovovich (playing herself) says that every scene in the film is supported by actual archival footage and that what we are about to see is very disturbing.  I wouldn’t care about the first lie if the movie was actually suspenseful, but unfortunately it’s full of lies and devoid of scares.

Halloween 4: Michael Myers is back in the best of the sequels. This one has the best atmosphere and characters outside of the original. 7/10

Spencer is joined by Kevin Malcolm, co-host of the Backroom Comics Podcast.  They open the episode with a discussion of comfort films – films you love to watch after a hard day. Next, they move on to a retrospective of the summer film season. They conclude the episode with a discussion of what they have been watching lately.

Halloween III: Instead of Michael Myers we get killer Halloween masks that somehow tie in to Stonehenge. It’s as good as it sounds. 2/10

Teeth is a film about a super goody-two-shoes high school girl who actively and militantly preaches abstinence. The reason she preaches is is due to the fact that her lady parts have teeth (I’m guessing because she was raised next to a nuclear power plant that is shown in as many shots as possible).

Ping Pong Playa is an amusing movie about a Chinese guy (C-Dub) that thinks he’s a basketball playa (in every sense of that retarded word). He is a freeloader from his friends and family and lives the life I can only dream about.

Halloween II (1981): Continues right where the first left off. Unfortunately the tone and gore don’t mesh with the original perfectly. 7/10

Let The Right One In is a vampire movie from Sweden that isn’t what I thought it would be.   I really am used to vampire films being very suspenseful with some crazy jump scenes where stuff jumps out where you don’t expect it.   But this isn’t one of them.   I was sort of disappointed.

Alright, I’m the only lover of bad movies in the history of the planet that doesn’t like Bruce Campbell at all.  I’m sorry.   I respect what he’s done for the genre, but I can’t stand him or his moronic acting.
