Madman (1982): A Friday the 13th rip-off with few redeeming factors. A good villain and great ending is all she has going for her. 4/10
The Burning (1981): A Friday the 13th rip-off that makes up for unoriginality with great Tom Savini gore effects and death scenes. 7/10
Drag Me To Hell: Sam Raimi’s triumphant return to splatstick horror. The only downside: a twist ending you can see coming a mile away. 8/10
Army of Darkness: If you want to know why the world loves Bruce Campbell, watch this movie. A hilarious sword and sorcery epic. 9/10
Evil Dead II: Although the tone is more comedy oriented, this one feels a little too much like a slightly inferior remake of the first. 8/10
The Evil Dead: Bruce Campbell may not be a badass yet, but this low budget horror classic full of great gore and has style to spare. 10/10
