Hanks is truly one of the elite actors of our time. It’s amazing how many iconic roles he has played and how many amazing movies he’s been in. He’s also got several lines of dialogue that have become integral to pop culture: “There’s no crying in baseball!”, “Wilson!”, “Life is like a box of chocolates…”, and I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting.

You are totally right…and it is amazing to look back at his career and see how diverse it really is. Sometimes we get really caught up in ‘dramatic’ Tom Hanks and totally forget how talented of a comic actor he is, etc.

Action, comedy, drama, suspense…he can do it all.
