For his DVD pick, John selected the classic Ozploitation film, BMX Bandits (DVD/Blu-ray). Spencer went for 2011 Best Picture nominee, The Fighter (DVD/Blu-ray).

I forgot to mention some things in the Panel Wrap-Up, too much information for one segment I guess. There were a couple of unannounced surprise guests brought on stage on Saturday in between panels. John Rogers, the executive producer of “Leverage”, talked about the first ever Leverage Con which will happen around May. Later William F. Nolan, author of Logan’s Run, said that he was happy that Warner Bros. is making a Logan’s Run remake with Ryan Gosling. His statement of “maybe they’ll get it right this time” was met with a big fan response.

Leverage Con? I think the show is ok…but a convention dedicated to that? Wow. Where is it taking place? Portland?

Good news about Logan’s Run…assuming it actually happens this time.
